Salamanca, Day of Defeat

Thursday - Friday, 16th-17th August '12
So I had a bit of a slump. And by a bit of a slump, I mean a major one. I arrived in Salamanca, and I just really wanted to go back home to Berlin.
(Where I really wanted to be... haha)
I think I just had a down day and according to reddit, it's normal. The best way to describe it was "travelling is like work, you need a weekend."

So instead of doing anything remotely interesting in Salamanca, I sat in my room all day and watched TV. I did go out at about 7pm to try and find food. I looked all around, tried to find somewhere with an english menu... found somewhere, they didn't serve food till 8:30... I gave up after this, went back, snacked on Pringles and did nothing else.

Next day I went for a quick stroll around Plaza Mayor and took some happy snaps. Soon afterwards had to take off towards Granada. It was a long train ride. Had to go to Madrid to get to Granada. I had fucking ages to wait, but I had to go to a different train station. Which of course took me ages, because I had no idea where to go or what to do.

This is basically every second store in Salamanca. Disturbed.

On the way to Granada, had to stop somewhere random, get off, and get on a bus for the last hour and a bit because there was something wrong with the railway lines.
