Essentially this day was visit Mont Juic Part 2, the part where my shoe doesn't break and I'm forced to leave. I bought two pairs of new thongs at Claire's on the way, immediately threw one away because they were super uncomfortable and the other gave me a few blisters, but I'm hoping they'll wear in or something.
Anyway, as stated, I spent most of the day in Mont Juic. Essentially just walking around the park and then going on a cable car to the big castle that overlooks basically everything. The view was quite awesome.
It was a super hot day again, as you can expect of Spain in summer. If it hadn't been so incredibly hot, I could honestly have spent all day just exploring that park, it truly is beautiful. It looks quite wild, but at the same time, as though it's been tamed by some ancient, fantastical type tribe of natives. The style of the whole place reminds me of The Lost City in Sun City in South Africa. Maybe that's why I loved it there so much.
The castle itself was very utilitarian and a little uninteresting, but the views were amazing and I got over my fear of cable cars and rode it one without batting an eyelash. It was nice, and you had an amazing view of the park and the city. It was nice.
Didn't get a good photo the day before, new one.
Castle :D
View from said castle.
