Anyway, the rest of my trip I essentially spent glued to the same spot on a family members couch playing minecraft every hour of the day and sipping from many a cup of tea. It was a glorious time, I must say.
I did wake up early on the fifth to visit the National Library, but it was absolutely pissing down with rain, so I decided to give it a miss. Anyway, I shall post pictures of what I achieved at Kim's house. It's clearly still a work in progress, nowhere near finished yet!
Currently in Dublin right now. I arrived at the airport, managed to catch the bus from the airport to the city centre... and once I arrived there, everything went to shit. I got super lost and then the heavens opened and it began to absolutely bucket down. I had EVERYTHING I OWN. Luckily I have a rain cover for my small backpack and all my electronics were there, but my clothes are all a bit damp right now.
After a while I finally found the tram line, bought a ticket and then realised it had already closed and no more trams were coming. Gave up on the public transport idea, especially given the rain, and took a cab from there to the hostel.
I then arrive to the hostel to find out I am an absolute nitwit and had booked the hostel for the 12th. I mean, what the hell. I don't even have any idea how I managed to screw that up so completely, but luckily they had room for me. But my god... that could've ended badly.
It's currently the 6th right now, almost 11 now. I don't really think there's much I want to do in Dublin, having looked at all the touristy stuff. The weather is looking a bit ominous, so I think today I might try find somewhere to buy a camera charger (yeah... I left mine in Berlin, I suck, I know) and go see Dark Knight Rises finally! Maybe I'll find a nice place for dinner somewhere. Anyway, I better get off.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I also forgot to cancel my booking for a hostel in London as I stayed with family... good bye $50... double fuck up.
