Spent most of the day travelling on a train. Arrived in Paris and eventually made it to our Hotel in Gare l'est. Afterwards we took a merry walk around the centre, had a glance at Notre Dame and then went to Ladurée, a famous restaurant/tea house in Paris and had some expensive, but delicious, little cakes.
From there, we travelled on over to Sacre Coeur and had some dinner nearby. I tried the traditional onion soup and we were served by a waitress whose face and mannerisms reminded me so ridiculously of Kate. I just couldn't look away. I got a ravioli and it was the most revolting thing I've ever eaten. The sauce tasted literally like diluted cream, just by itself. It was gross.
The parking in Paris, people have like rubber things on the front and back of their cars for when they run into the other cars trying to park. Ridiculous.
The waitress that reminds me of my friend!
