This day was far less productive than the previous two days, although the finals and after were absolutely cray cray. But I took a grand total of like 5 pictures today... so really this post ain't gunna mean shit to most people. But hey, it's my blog. What up.
Because I'm basically suffering from early on-set dementia, I don't remember exactly what I did or when... but stuff happened, promise. I remember there was a lot of long-ass breaks between games... and they were spent napping in the car or in the press area. I basically gave up taking pictures because, for the most part, I felt too weird asking more players for pictures. I also wasn't happy with the way the pictures were coming out... even after my yoda lesson, they still just didn't look as good as I had hoped. Me thinks I should take a class... I've been meaning to, but god-damn they're so expensive.
The whole day we regarded the night with a large amount of trepidation... they'd organised that the SC2 finals, Dota 2 finals and twitch after party were to start at the same time. I mean, WTF! It was especially hard since David wanted to go to the twitch after party, but it was apparent to me that Hero would probably be in the finals... SO I HAD TO BE THERE! Lucky for me, I met up with LiquidRet and he promised to keep me company during the finals. So I got like, prime seats to watch HerO absolutely roflstomp over everything. It was great.
There was a moment of confusion when all the TL boys had to go congratulate HerO for the win, and I realised that the WiFi was no longer working in the hall and I was kind of relying on them to get to this party... haha. I just sat where I was for a while and watched HerO be awkward as shit with a champagne bottle and random girls planting wet ones on his cheeks. It was pretty cute. Such a playa! haha
Anyway, eventually I found my way over to TLO, Jinro and Haypro and hung out with them while waiting for the rest of 'em. HerO had told me on twitter he had something to give me as thanks for the scarf I gave him, and it was the cutest thing ever when he finally gave it to me. He was just like "HERE! THANKS PRESENT!" and then ran away... it was so adorable. I was probably equally as awkward, looking at my feet while blushing wildly and just like, oh you shouldn't have. Gosh. haha.
It took us a while to organise a cab to this party, and even to get into this party there was quite a bit of confusion. Alas, we'd arrived too late for free drinks. I'd decided I was gunna get wasted so I would have the courage to talk to HerO and congratulate him on the win. Ret was a bad influence there, offering to buy me drinks. Haha.
Anyway, the party was pretty shit... I think it wasn't like "exclusive", if you paid at the front door they let you in no matter whether you knew what twitch or dreamhack was. So we soon left back to the Elmia hotel... where we'd been just before. Anyway, the rest of the night was just a large amount of movement and confusion. Seriously. I did eventually speak to HerO, god-damn though, we're both so shy. It felt like high school all over again. hahaha It was nice to hang out with the TL guys though, Jinro especially so nice and awesome and friendly. As I always knew he was. Good guy Jinro!
Anyway, not much else to say. I slept through most of the drive home... and then got home... slept more...I feel like I've honestly slept like 30 hours in the last 48 hours... it can't be healthy. My life feels so empty now that Dreamhack is over!! Sigh. Guess I have to try fill the hours while I wait till IPL starts. Where I'll be cheering for HerO all over again!

Here are two random pictures I took. One of Regi sleeping in the twitch lounge while we waited for the semi-finals. And then of Artem showing his love for the swarm.
