19th-21st June 2012
So, these few days are possibly some of the most exhausting I've ever had to endure. So let's begin on the 19th. Having stayed awake the entire previous day and night, I took a bus around 4am, to ensure I caught a train to Stockholm 6am in the morning. I spend the day in Stockholm, catch my flight in the late afternoon. My flight is delayed till 8pm and I do not arrive in Berlin till late. I am basically a zombie at this point and made an ill-advised decision to get off the train and take a "short-cut" home. Said "short-cut" does not work out, at all, and I end up wasting 40 minutes having to back track and continue on the path I was on anyway. I arrive back at my apartment in Berlin around 12:30 and then have to pack for England.
I wake up the following morning around 5am as have to catch very early flight. Once arriving in Luton I have to pass the time for a few hours before taking a coach to Birmingham. I finally arrive in Birmingham around 4pm, and immediately have a shower and pass out... for 15 hours.
The next day was much better, I went around with my Aunt Marian to borrow some things from Auntie Sue, and then we spent the rest of the day knitting. It was lovely.
