I super don't remember WHEN we went to the zoo, but I have pictures, so we definitely went! It was the same week I went to Art and Toys (previous post) as Max was with us. It was a nice afternoon, very warm with very few clouds in the sky. Before I even went, Marlene bought me an ice-cream, nothing could go wrong.
Anyway. Overall, I had fun, but the zoo itself was deeply disappointing. It wasn't as big as I thought, and they didn't have that great a variety of animals. I was also really upset by a lot of the enclosures, especially for some of the bigger, 'wilder' animals, they were so barren, small and... just cruel. You'll see what I mean when you look at the pictures. The zoo felt spacious, green... for us. But not for a lot of the animals, somehow.
